Newcastle Digital Ball

Coming soon to Newcastle

Newcastle Digital Ball

One night. One room. The people building the North East's digital future — with every penny raised going back into closing the digital divide across the region.

An idea, coming home to the Toon.

Since 2022, our friends at the Leeds Digital Ball have raised more than £300,000 for digital inclusion projects — proof of what a region can do when its tech community gathers in one room. The Newcastle Digital Ball brings that same spirit north. A black-tie evening for the people, founders, agencies and engineers shaping digital across the North East, in support of charity partners closing the digital divide on our doorstep.

What to expect on the night.

  1. Black-tie reception

Welcome drinks and live music at a landmark Newcastle venue, from early evening.

  2. Three-course dinner

A menu put together with one of the region's leading chefs — and good company at every table.

  3. Charity auction

Money-can't-buy lots from the North East's most generous supporters, raising every pound for our charity partners.

  4. Live entertainment

A live band, dancing, and an after-party to take the room through to the early hours.

  5. A community in one room

Founders, engineers, designers, agencies, public sector and the people they back — gathered for one night a year.

What we stand for.

Digital inclusion

Every pound raised goes to charity partners working to close the digital divide across the North East — the people, skills and access that will shape the next decade of the region.

A region in the room

Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, Teesside and the Tyne Valley — the digital community across the North East, together for one evening.

A night worth the wait

We're taking the time to do this properly. Right venue, right partners, right cause — built with the community we're throwing it for.

Be part of the first one.

We're talking to sponsors, charity partners, venues and supporters who want to help shape the inaugural Newcastle Digital Ball. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
